Irish boxer defeated in London

Boxer Amir Khan’s helped to restore his reputation by beating Oisin Fagan at the London ExCel last night.

The Bolton born fighter won in two rounds, leaving his opponent needing oxygen after the referee stopped the contest.

Khan’s career took a blow when he was knocked out in the first round by unknown Colombian Breidis Prescott in September.
